“ Great service, great atmosphere. Very friendly staff—especially Bossman. Open until 4 am on nights with peak nightclub activity (Wednesday, Friday, Saturday)—very handy for nights out or late library shifts. ”
“ We went to this restaurant in search of some good food while travelling to Lake District with my friends from London. We were a bit weary once we reached the google location which took us into the University, but after a short chat with one of students we were directed to a lovely area with multiple restaurants. As soon as we walked in we were cordially greeted by the owner who understood that we were tourists and was extremely hospitable and guided us through the menu. We had ordered some chicken sizzler and loaded fries. I have to say the food was extremely tasty and was well worth the money. Would definitely recommend this place. ”

“ We would normally stop at the Lancaster services after hiking in the lakes. On rbi occasion we decided to visit Sultan at Lancaster University and we weren’t disappointed. The university was vibrant, security allowed us to park in short stay as it was Saturday. Students were friendly and very helpful. The restaurant was busy with kids playing outside and people sitting and walking around. We enjoyed the meal. I would rate the food 4 out of 5. I have had better but it was to a good standard. The hospitality of the owners was 5 star. They offered us popodums / salad / drinks and even made us tea at the end. They came to speak to us and treated us like guests in their homes. We now plan to visit Sultan after every future lakes trip. It’s most definitely a better stop than the services! Toilets, space to pray, change and refresh! ”

I loved the environment of the restaurant and it is always very relaxing when everything is halal certified. Would definitely recommend if you are in Lancaster! ”
